WHY FLY WITH US?

EXPERIENCED
FLIGHT
INSTRUCTORS

Currently, about 80% of our instructors are Senior Instructors, meaning that our students usually go solo faster than schools with more Junior Instructors. All of our instructors are well trained and highly experienced, with a diverse range of aviation backgrounds from multiple countries around the world.

EMPHASIS ON
PILOT SAFETY
& WELFARE

The company structure required for our Part 142 training provider status means that we have experienced support staff in a number of designated roles. These include an Internal Safety Manager, Welfare Manager, and designated Head of Aircraft Airworthiness and Maintenance Control (HAAMC). This support structure allows us to deliver a dedicated and focused approach to the welfare and safety of our pilots.

PART 142
INTEGRATED
TRAINING

Part 142 flying schools offer an integrated CASA training syllabus, allowing you to reach your goals in less flying hours. This saves our students a lot of money, along with the fact that Part 142 training can be offered GST-free. To be approved to conduct Part 142 training, flight schools need to meet certain personnel requirements, meaning that they have more qualified staff and a more stable company structure.

MODERN
AIRCRAFT FLEET

We teach our students to fly on modern aircraft with modern avionics. Our pilots’ flying hours are supported by the use of the latest in flight simulation and VR even when they are on the ground. We have direct airside access from our training base, with a range of aircraft available for pilots at any stage of their training, including Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating.

INTERNATIONAL
FLIGHT SCHOOL

Learn To Fly’s home training base is at Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne, one of Australia’s busiest airports with >250,000 aircraft movements per year. We also have a base in Townsville Queensland, and training facilities in Singapore and Hong Kong. In addition, we have partnered with airlines based in multiple countries to offer global career options to our pilots and students.

AIRLINE
INTERVIEW
SPECIALISTS

We are experts in assisting pilots with airline interview preparation, which is one of the most difficult aspects of pursuing an airline career. Many pilots with excellent flying experience still fail airline interviews, and so our programs offer in-depth training to make sure they are as well prepared as possible. Our airline interview preparation training experts have an excellent success rate with many major airlines around the world.
